With reference to the“Universities for Innovation” call for applications funded by the Erasmus + program and promoted by the SEND Mobility Consortium, the results for the Traineeship grants for students are now available.

GRANTED BENEFICIARIES have full right to participate in the Erasmus + mobility project “Universities for Innovation” with grants, as provided by art. 3 of the selection calls.
The NOT GRANTED BENEFICIARIES may decide to take part in the project without any financial support (ZERO GRANT), to renounce or to wait for a possible ranking scrolling which could assign them a grant at a later time.
NOT ELIGIBLE BENEFICIARIES haven’t any right to participate in the project, as their application has been found invalid or incomplete.
To confirm the grant acceptance or make a renounce, it’s necessary to send an e-mail to mobility@sendsicilia.it, by 12th MAY 2023, with the acceptance – or renouncement form, which can be downloaded HERE in the attachments section.
The NOT suitable candidates will not have the possibility to participate in the project, as their application was found to be invalid or incomplete.
DURATION
From 2 to 3 months. It is possible extend the traineeship period, but the grant may not be guaranteed. The departure are eligible from the 30th December 2023. All the mobilty must end on 31st July 2024.
BLENDED MOBILITY
The European Commission agreed on the eligibility of blended and mobility. The E+ grant will be guaranteed only for the activites that will take place physically or virtually from the hosting country.
WHAT TO DO BEFORE DEPARTURE?
You need to download the documentation relating to your home University, which is available among the attachments at the bottom of this page.
Required documentation:
- Learning Agreement for Traineeships (LAT) ;
- Grant Agreement (GA) ;
- Additional documentation (some Universities require the sending of further documentation, included in the relevant folder of your University)
N.B. Please read carefully the instructions, attached to the regulation, to complete the GA and LAT forms.
WHICH ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERS THE “Universities for Innovation” TO ITS BENEFICIARIES?
a. Preparation before departure:
Students may download in the “Library” section of the SEND Mobility Platform:
- information and guidance material on living and working in Europe,
- preparation material on Social Innovation
- guides for skills self-assessment .
WHAT HAPPENS DURING MOBILITY?
a. Possibility of extension
If the participant, in agreement with the host organization, wishes to make further months of mobility and traineeship, he/she can request it.
Any request for extension may be accepted, while the request for extra grant must be first approuved by SEND, which will undertake to allocate all the financial resources still available.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MOBILITY?
All participants will be required to provide SPECIFIC and COMPULSORY documentation in order to receive the BALANCE of the assigned grant.
