4. ARE TRAINEES COVERED BY AN INSURANCE?

The insurance is covered by the sending Institutions, which normally provide an insurance for all their students and recent graduates even for activities abroad related to their studies. The insurance normally covers accidents during the work and the travel and the liability to third parties. Furthermore, The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) allows students to receive medically necessary (hence not only urgent) care in all UE countries plus Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Iceland.

3. CAN I GIVE REIMBURSEMENT OR POCKET MONEY TO THE TRAINEE IN ADDITION TO THE E+ GRANT?

The Erasmus+ grant is compatible with any form of financial contributions provided by the hosting organization, but it is not compatible with other UE grants/funds.We strongly suggest hosting organization to provide trainee with any form of reimbursement, pocket money or accommodation.

2. WHICH IS THE ERASMUS+ GRANT AMMOUNT?

The Grant consists in a monthly lump sum which includes a basic contribution plus a contribution for traineeship. In case the trainee has disadvantaged economic conditions, he/she will receive a top up of 150 euro/month. The total amount of the grant depends on the duration of the traineeship (number of months) and on the country of destination. The monthly contributions are calculated following the guidelines established by the Erasmus+ program and by the Italian Ministry of Labor and Education.

1. WHAT ARE THE COSTS MY ORGANIZATION SHOULD COVER?

Host organization has no costs in hosting trainee/s with SEND Consortium. All costs are indeed covered by the project. Students received an Erasmus+ grant which covers part of the travel, subsistence, and insurance costs during their mobility.
